Saxum International Foundation is an international non-profit that coordinates the fundraising activities for a newly built state-of-the-art Saxum Visitor Centre (near Jerusalem, in Israel) and organises events and workshops in the Holy Land.

We recently implemented a CRM solution based on Salesforce NPSP to track donations to the Foundation, attendance at events, and monitoring group bookings to the Visitor Centre. From the very start we’ve been in need of an additional app that would allow us receive feedback from participants at events and from visiting groups.

SurveyVista is the perfect tool for our needs. Because Saxum is such an international centre, and we get people from every corner of the world, a key feature that has proven invaluable for us is the ability to send the same Survey in multiple languages, and yet gather all the results into the one and only place for analysing them.

Another functionality that we find extremely useful is to be able to gather data from survey respondents and seamlessly integrate that data into their Salesforce records. For instance, in the past, a few weeks before the start of an international congress we would request flight and accommodation details from all the participants. This information would arrive to the Saxum office in various forms: email, fax, phone call, WhatsApp… Then, one of us would have to enter it manually into the Salesforce database to keep track of delegate’s travel and accommodation arrangements. You can see how time consuming this was, and how easy errors could be made when transcribing the data. Now, with SurveyVista we simply send the questionnaire to the delegates by email, and their responses fill in the requested data in Salesforce automatically as they arrive: a real time saver and free of errors!

As most of our surveys are sent by email, it was important for us to be able to assign different Email Templates to different surveys, depending on the audience that were going to get the Survey. Again, SurveyVista provides an easy solution: at the time of creating a Survey, we can select the relevant Notification Email Templates of previously created templates in Salesforce. On these templates we can refer to specific fields such as the survey name, the name of the contact that will receive the email, and any other relevant information about the survey or the contact.

There is no doubt that SurveyVista is a fabulous application without which in Saxum Foundation we would not have been able to manage all the events and activities that take place here in an effective manner.
